Precautions after Procedure

01. Pain after breast surgery may occur 2-3 days after surgery. It will subside as time passes.

02. A corrective garment should be worn immediately after surgery in case of breast augmentation.
It should always be worn for 4 weeks after surgery.

03. If a hemoglobin bag is attached to your breasts, please make sure to keep the valve open. The bag is normally removed after 5~7 days.

04. Since the surgery is performed under general anesthesia, eating soft food such as soup or porridge for 2 days after surgery is recommended.

05. Breast massage should be done on the 5-7th day(after the bag is removed) after surgery.
Please continue to massage for 3 months at least 3 times in a day for 15 minutes each time.

06. Please avoid sleeping on your side or stomach for 4 weeks.

07. Heavy exercises such as aerobics, weight lifting or running should be avoided for 4 weeks after surgery. Taking a walk is recommended.

08. Shower can be done after 7 days; however, please avoid sauna and hot spring for 4 weeks.

09. Only the painkiller and antibiotic that are prescribed by the clinic should be taken and take them as directed. If the pain persists even after taking the medication, then Tylenol can be taken additionally.
Please do not take painkiller that contains Aspirin as it may cause bleeding.

10. Drinking and smoking should be avoided for 4 weeks. Alcohol can cause infection and smoking can damage/necrotize skin or postpone wound recovery as it contracts vessels.

01. For 1 month after the surgery, you should sleep in a slightly slouched position and not straight your back.

02. In case of wearing drainage tube after the surgery, please be careful so that the tube does not come off.

03. Body fluid can leak out within 24 hours after surgery up to the 3rd day. There may be some bruising and swelling on the surgical area.

04. Stitches are removed between 10 – 14 days after surgery.

05. Avoid heavy exercises such as aerobics and/ or working out at gym for 4 weeks after surgery.
Taking a walk is recommended.

06. Shower can be done once the stitches are removed; However, sauna and hot spring should be avoided for 4 weeks.

04. Please avoid wearing contact lenses for 3 weeks. Please wear glasses or sunglasses during this period.

06. Shower can be done on the next day of the surgery. However, please avoid sauna and hot spring for

07. Please do not bow your head or lie faced down.

08. Using a soft large cushioned pillow when sleeping will help minimize the swelling andthe bruising.
However, please make sure that your neck is not bent and you do not sleep on your side or faced down and sleep facing the ceiling.

09. Only pain killers and antibiotics prescribed by the clinic needs to be taken and should be taken correctly. If the pain killers provided is not enough, Tylenol can be taken also. Please avoid taking pain killers which are related to Aspirin as it may cause bleeding.

10. Drinking alcohol and smoking should be avoided for 4 weeks. Alcohol can cause inflammation and smoking can prolong the recovery of scars as it causes the tightening of the blood vessels.

07. Avoid heavy exercises such as aerobics and/or working out at a gym for 4 weeks after the surgery.
Taking a walk is recommended.

01. Swelling and bruises will occur for 3 days after the surgery. They will subside as time passes.

02. Please avoid using an ice-pack on the surgical area. If the ice pack presses the surgical area, it could cause denting and dramatically reduces the survival rate of the grafted fat. If the surgical area feels hot, then use an ice cube and rub it gently on the area.

03. Please avoid pressing or massaging the surgical area. This can negatively affect the surgical result and cause the same effect as using an ice-pack. Also, it may cause the grafted fat to be shifted to another spot.

O4. Facial wash and make up are allowed after the stitch removal. Stitches will be removed after 5 days on the face, and 7 days on the legs, abdomen and the arms. However, stitches for the second session will be removed 3 days after the surgery.

05. It takes about 1 month for grafted fat to settle down to its place. Therefore, the face will look swollen for 1~2 months. During this period, comparing the changes of the face before and after the surgery would be meaningless.

06. Please avoid going on a diet. Weight loss will cause the newly grafted fat to be reduced.

01. Pain on a surgical part after surgery will be gone after 2~3 days. Liposuction causes less pain compared to other surgeries do but there will be slightly stiff feelings on the surgical part.

02. A corrective garment should be worn at all times for 4 weeks after the bandage removal. Wearing the garment as long as up to 3 months is recommend.

03. If the amount of fat was extracted a lot, a drainage tube could be inserted through an incision hole.
Stitch from the incision hole will be removed in 5~7 days after the surgery.

04. The suction part will be sutured to minimize scars. The stitches removal are normally done after 7~10 days from the surgery.

05. If general or spinal anesthesia is performed, enough rest for one day is required since full anesthesia gives much stress on the body.

06. 1-2 days after ths surgery, returning to normal daily activities is recommended to aid quick recovery from surgical symptoms. Lying on bed for a long time prolongs the recovery period.

05. Please avoid blowing your nose for 2 weeks. In case of nosebleed, please gently wipe out the blood. Please avoid putting tissues inside of your nostrils. It is normal to have a small amount of nosebleed or oozes for 2-3 days after the surgery.

06. Please avoid wearing sunglasses for 2 weeks in case of simple rhinoplasty and for 4 weeks in case of nasal bone reduction.

07. Avoid heavy exercises such as aerobics and/ or working out at a gym for 4 weeks after the surgery.
