Dual Plane Breast Augmentation
A method in which implants are placed in a partially subpectoral plane by releasing the muscle origin along the inframammary fold.
This method optimizes the benefits of each pocket location, either subpectoral or sub-glandular, and minimizes the risks of a single pocket location. This method allows expansion of the breast skin envelope, for a naturally-looking, tear-drop breast shape.

Subglandular Breast Augmentation
A method in which the implants are placed above the muscle and below the breast soft tissue.
This method allows expansion of the deflated skin envelope and decreases the incidence of “double bubble” deformity. Because there is no dissection underneath the muscle, the surgery is relatively shorter and less likely to cause pain, thus having the advantage of a short recovery period.

Submuscular Breast Augmentation
A method in which the implants are
placed underneath the pectoral muscles.
This method allows greater tissue coverage of the implant, a more natural appearance and feel, less palpability of the implant, and possibly less risk of capsular contracture. This method is preferably used in most Korean women who are slim with less
subcutaneous tissue.

Transaxillary incision
An approximately 3-4cm incision is made in the natural folds of the armpit. This approach leaves no scars on the breast
Peri-areolar incision
The incision is made along the inferior border of the areola, where the darker skin of the areola meets the lighter skin of the breast
Inframammary incision
The incision is placed at inframammary crease under the breast and leaves discreet scarring. Surgeons have more visibility, precision, and control with this incision.
